Quality management

In order to keep the high mass accuracy and sensitivity of mass spectrometers regular calibration of instrument parameters is necessary. The performance of the mass spectrometers is checked on a weekly basis and calibrated as necessary. Similarly, the performance of the HPLC systems is also regularly monitored. Additionally, tryptic digests of BSA and HeLa lysate are used as standards for a daily quality check of the whole LC-MS/MS system.
